Our story
My passion for beard care products led to an overflowing collection—and a frustrating lack of proper storage. Out of that need, I started designing my own modular and semi-modular shelving systems. This vision became Wagoner's Workshop, a space dedicated to creating the perfect home for your prized collection. Unfortunately I lost my workspace but wanted to stay involved with the bearded community so I decided to keep the site open by selling a beard product or two to pay for the website, learn a new skill, and make some new friends along these roads.
Why Wagoner's Workshop
As a truck driver for twenty years, the road has always been my office. Given my love for the Middle Ages and the medieval themes of many beard care brands, I naturally saw myself as the Wagoner—hauling those prized loads of balms and oils.
The Workshop reflects the broad range of crafts and trades we offer. Beyond beard care, you'll find my unique projects, including monthly sticker designs and 3D-printed items, alongside items from other artisans. We're also proud to be a platform for small-batch startups to test their products, with future plans to offer laser etching and cutting services.
What’s in our Tonics (oils), Salves (butters), and Draughts (colognes)?
Our Scents our created by hand blending essential oils and fragrance oils until we find the notes we are looking for. We then let those oils mature together for 48 hours minimum. We then re-evaluate the scent and adjust if needed. It is then added to the Tonic, Salve, or Draught at the highest allowable concentration.
Our base oil is selected from non-comedogenic oils, I have sensitive skin so I’ve looked for blends that will work for people like me:
Sunflower-is lightweight and fast-absorbing. It moisturizes deeply without clogging pores.
Rosehips-this “dry'“ oil is another fast penetrator that is non-greasy and offers amazing moisture without building up.
Avocado-hydrates both hair and skin without clogging pores. It strengthens hair preventing breakage and promotes growth
Argan-High in vitamin E antioxidants and essential fatty acids, Argan eliminates beard itch, beardruff and promotes a fuller-looking beard
Jojoba-mimics our own sebum. Thus hydrating and softening both hair and skin.
Sweet Almond-another Vitamin E provider as well as biotin and magnesium. This helps soften, strengthen, and nourish hair while moisturizing the skin.
Vitamin E-mosturizes and nourishes hair and skin.
The Salve base is a moisturizing and skin safe blend of:
Shea Butter, Kokum Butter, Shorea (Sal) Butter, Beeswax, Cupuacu Butter, Jojoba Oil, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Fractionated Cocunut Oil, Argan Oil, Squalane Oil, and Vitamin E Oil.
The Draught is an Eau de Parfume with 20% of our hand blended fragrance oil with Perfumer’s Alcohol.
